All Boys SOKSEK Trip 2008!!! (Part 1)

Awesome!!
Fun!!
Exciting!!
Full of laughter!!!
Memorable!!!
Those are just a few words to describe the two days we had spent together at Kolam Air Panas Ulu Lenggong n Bkt Merah Laketown Water Park...
A total of 9 soksekianz batch 0206 joined the event..
Shah, Prem, Farid ketul, Cdan, Paih Omar, Azrin goleks, Iqram, Azri hanis n myself...
hehehe
This is the first time we went on a trip together since we finished school...
There were a lot of chatting n laughter as we talked about our past stories in SOKSEK....

On the 29th of December, Iqram, Cdan, Paih, Prem n I gathered at the Seberang Prai Mosque...
There were some delays due to the heavy rain which made it difficult for Iqram to travel...
So as usual we had to wait for him : P
hehehe
At around 5pm, we drove towards Farid's house in Baling in two different cars...
One dangerous incident happened on the road while we were driving...
Memang bahaya gila...
Alhamdulillah slamat...
Syukur3...

Nevertheless, we arrived safely at Farid's house...
He n azri hanis who had arrived earlier greeted us...
Then we ate laksa which was prepared specially by farid's mother...
Mmg sedap gila...
Aku seperti biasa makan 2 round hehehe

At around 8pm, we headed straight for Kolam Air Panas Ulu Lenggong which is a 45 minutes drive from Baling...
When we finally arrived there were already a lot of people there..
According to Farid, the place is usually pack at midnight until the next morning...
After paying RM4 for the tickets, we searched for a suitable place to place our bags n set up a fire to start a bbq...
hehehe

3 fat chickens and 20 pieces of sausages are ready to be barbecued by 7 hungry people, some of them are experienced at it while others are not so experienced....
I won't tell you which category I fall into but i think you can guess.. : P
hehehe

With all our brains and skill put together we finally managed to cook all of the food.. That is after TWO HOURS!!!
hehehe

We had some difficulty lighting the fire and burning the charcoal due to scarce resources...
Nevertheless, the best moment has finally arrived...
EATING TIME!!!

Foods that you cook with your friends using our own skills really taste delicious.. (even though some of them are not fully cooked)
hehehe
After that, we all took a dip in the hot springs...
Fuuhhhh
It really feels great after all that heat from the bbq...
Many people were also there with some of them doing amazing stunts like diving in the hot spring, doing a back flip jump....
They are probably local people who have been swimming in the hot springs since they were babies..
hehe

We stayed there until 2.00 pm...
Some of us were already feeling sleepy and tired so we decided to head back to Farid's house...
Tomorrow we have another trip ahead of us....

To be continued...............................................

KYUEM TV AWARDS!!

It was the best..
the coolest...
the most exciting...
and the most memorable end of sem dinner I've ever had...

The food served was the best especially the Yong Tau Fu..
As always during the speech before the dinner began, the student will be busy planning a strategy to obtain the best food using the least time...
"A (bukan nama sebenar), ko p amk Yong Tau Fu, B (bukan nama sebenar), ko attack nasik lemak kukus ayam rempah, n aku serang pasembor. Kumpulkan sebanyak mungkin. Pape masalah, hubungi headquater. Roger n out."
My team consisting of York, Khalil, Acap Z, Neo, Teng, and Sayed was preparing to carry out our own great plan to conquer the food stalls..
hehehehe

N setelah kata2 'dinner is served oleh MC, GH yg tdnya penuh ngn org tiba2 lenggang.
Brpusu-pusu plajar KYUEM menyerang makanan ngn muka pnuh kelaparan...
It's like watching a stampede...
Good thing no casualties occured during the event...

The highlight of the event was the performance...
there was a cultural performance by all the three major race in Malaysia n plus one hip hop performance..
Just one word to describe it..
Mantap!!!
hehe
owh yes not forgetting the performance from the exchange student from the UK..
emmmm no comment
hehehe

Of all the performance, there was one performance that really caught my attention..
the Chinese dance...
why is it interesting???
because there was a great dancer who amazed everyone with his dancing skill..
He is Imrul Qais, my pet bro..
hohoho
he was awesome..
x sangka aku dia pandai menari...
mmg dia mndapat spotlight la malam 2..
bangga aku jd pet family dia...
hehe

I would give 8/10 to this event..
A really awesome idea by our project manager, the cool n cute Aainaa... hehe
I really enjoyed myself...
Hope next year's end of sem dinner will be more exciting..
hehe

My life as a driver

Yay!!!!
Holidays!!!
hahaha
one the best time for a students...
but it could sometimes be the most boring time of your life..
huhu
it all depends on how you plan your holiday...
Kalo keja dk asyik mngadap pc, internet n tv ja mmg bosan la...
bak kata Arif, 'x da LIFE!!!!'
hehe

For the past few days, I haven't done anything really interesting...
just the usual stuff...
plus taking a job as a driver under the FAMA company..
because of the current economic situation which is still unpredictable, my wage have been cut down to zero...
in other words, I'm working for free..
huhu
n because there are no powerful unions for this job, I was unable to obtain any increase in my wage...

Well, my job seems simple at first..
Best gk la brjalan sana cni tgk prubahan kt penang..
but after a few days, my job turned out to be more tiring than i thought....
Today was the most hectic..

At 8.15 am
I woke up (aku dh bgn semayang Subuh n sambung tdo blik, tdo agk lmbt smlm)
Had my bath n ate breakfast (nasik lemak, one of my favourites)

8.45 am
Sent my little brother to the British Council for his English class..
Agk jauh la...
Paling laju aku prnh wt 20 minit..
Alhamdulillah x kn tahan ngn polis masa diorg wt roadblock..

9.15 am
Went to Mutiara Gemilang Computer Centre to get my laptop fix..
i was there for about 3 hours..
huhuhu
Siap sempat p Lorong Kulit bli bju Arsenal, murah lak 2..
hehe
but anyway, i was relieved that my laptop was saved...
x payah nk bli laptop bru...
So I will have more disposable income that i can use to buy something else..
hehe

1.00 pm
Arrived home...
Had my lunch n then pa lg, main game la...
hoho

2.50 pm
My brother wants to go to the driving academy...
my little sister was not feeling well and wants to go to the clinic..
So once again I have to sit behind the wheels n drive them to their respective destinations..

3.30 pm
Went to order pasembor n carrot cheese cake for this coming Saturday..
My mother's friends are coming so my mom is planning a small 'minum petang'...
Can't wait to eat pasembor..
hehe

4.15 pm
Went to pick my little brother at the British Council..
We arrived early so I managed to get some sleep while waiting for him..
Ngantuk gila....
huhu

5.30 pm
Arrived home at last...
Aku trus mencari katil yg trdekat n trjun atas katil..
managed to experience free fall for a second..

Yesterday is history...
Tomorrow is a mystery..
n today is a gift..
Hope that the mystery is better than the gift...
hehehe

Econs AS exams

After 2 hours and 30 minutes of hardship, finally the econs paper is over...

hehehehe

Paper 1 was quite easy because there was not much difficult and confusing economic questions and calculations...

Thnk u so much to the exam board from the depest of my heart..

hehe

However, paper 2 was a bit hard...

The data response was normal but the essay was a bit confusing...

I had some difficulties i nchoosing which question to tackle...

div>Me: Isk, nk amk yg mana 1 ni??? CBA aku tolak awal2 so tinggal international trade n money....
At last, I chose to tackle the international trade questions which later turned out to be much more difficult than I thought. Since there was no turning back due to scarce time, I decided to just 'goreng'

hehehehe

Overall, I was satisfied with how I answered it and I hope that I can obtain an A...

Malas la nk repeat...

Doakan aku....

A few comments from other students about the econs paper:
S1 bkn nama sebenar: X susah sgt. Tp aku risau gk la.
K bkn nama sebenar: Paper 1 senang. Paper 2 pening sket la.
S2 bkn nama sebenar:Boleh la. Tp takut gk la coz aku jwb merepek sket td.
Someone bkn nama sebenar: Weh, nmpknya makin cerah la peluang aku nk dpt top in the world.

Regret....

Injury...
A word which is very sensitive to everyone especially athletes in various sports...
Not being able to do the things that you love most even for just a moment  is among the worst thing that could happen to you...
That is what I felt when an injury hit me a few months ago....
It all happened during the 2nd semester in KYUEM...
There was an inter-house rugby competition..
I was selected to be part of the team even though I have never played rugby in my entire life...
When I told my mother and father about it, there were not happy with my decision...
However, I managed to convinced them to allow me to play...
The 1st game was between Garnet and Topaz....
The was mostly controlled by Topaz since they have more experience players..
I didn't received the ball until after around 5 minutes...
When managed to grab hold of the ball, I ran at full speed...
Without knowing, someone managed to tackle me....
CRACK!!!!
That was the sound that I heard before I felt unbearable pain...
I couldn't walk properly after that...
I was really shocked...
My worse fear has came true.....
I was speechless..
The next morning was the most painful moment of my life...
My knee felt extremely painful...
I was not able to get up of my bed....
I called my friends to contact the matron...
After seeing my condition, she decided to bring to the hospital...
The doctor said that my ligament is probably torn and he advises me to see a specialist...
The worst news that he told me was that I can not play any sport for about 3 months...
What???? 3 months.. You got to be kidding... No way....
And what's more, the doctor said that I may not be able to play like I use to...
At that time, I really regretted my decision to play rugby.....
If only I had listen to my parent's advice...
Things could have been different for me...
This among the things that I regret in life...
Since then, my knee have been repeatedly injured....
And every time my knee got injured, I will always remember that painful event....

Court Case

Crime: Did not go to Puan Ju's Mechanics class.
Date of crime: 28/10/08
Time of crime: 8.15am-9.40am.
Crime scene: Chalet P-19
Defendant's arguments:
1) Misguided information.
How it happen:
Date: 27/10/08
Time: 11.30pm
Venue: P-28 (Aidid's chalet)
I went to P-28 to meet Khalil coz we have to discuss the competition for the HAW which is just around the corner. As I was entering the chalet, I saw Aidid reading manga online. I went into Khalil's room and we started our discussion. At around 12.00am, we finished discussing and I went to join Aidid in front of the computer.
Me: Ko dk bca cita pa 2?? Best ka??
Aidid: Keikashi. Bleh tahan la. Weh, esk 1st period blok 4 kn?? Aku free. (muka penuh kegembiraan)
Me: Hah?? Btul ka?? Yes, aku pn free gk. X jeles pn. Alang2 free, jom ah tgk movie. Ada cita best x??
Aidid: Jom tgk cita '28 Weeks Later'. Cita psl zombie.
Me: Aiyo, cita seram ah ni. X kisah la.

And so we watched the movie until 2.00am. The movie was quite good. After that, I went straight to my chalet and went to sleep.
Date: 28/10/08
Time: 6.45am
Venue: P-19C

I woke feeling very sleepy. I looked at my watch.
Me: Aiyo, Subuh dh nk abs.
I quickly did my prayer and then like everyone else, continued my sleep. I woke up again at 8.00am. I could hear Zul preparing to go to class.
Me: Relax. 1st period free. Sambung tdo la. Ngntuk gla ni. Zzzz
I hugged my pillow and continued to sleep. I woke up again at 9.00am feeling very dizzy. Suddenly, I felt like I need to look at my timetable. I looked at my timetable and was shocked. The 1st period was not block 4 but insted block 1.
Me: Hah!! (Trus sedar 100%) Aiyoooo, sry Puan Ju. X sngaja ponteng klas. Tipah trtipu. (perasaan geram trhadap Aidid trus membara) Ko mmg nk kna Aidid.

So that how it happens. Now it's time to give the verdict. Am I guilty or innocent??? You decide.

Basketball Friendly

Result & report 4 the KYUEM team during the basketball friendly games at SAS:
25 th October, 5.45pm:
KYUEM vs KMS
This was the first game 4 KYUEM. KMS had a few girl's supporters with them while KYUEM had none which effected the morale of the KYUEM players. It was a tense game during the 1st quater. KYUEM didn't play very well and was unable to cope with KMS's offensive strategy. KMS used this opportunity to score and when the 1st quarter ended, KMS was leading KYUEM by 7-2. During the 2nd quarter, the game made a U-turn and was controlled by a high spirited KYUEM team. The score margin was narrowed and KYUEM finally manage to take the lead. The lead made KYUEM feel relaxed and KMS tried to use this chance to take the lead again but they failed. In the end, KYUEM won with a score of 31-21.

KYUEM players' words b4 the game:
- Weh, pesal seksi sgt jersey kta??
- Korg serius ka nk pkai jersey ni??
- Ni jersey kurun ke brapa ni??
- Waa, tuuttt (nama trpksa dirahsiakan) comel gla pkai jersey kolej

26th October, 9.30am:
KYUEM vs KMB
KYUEM took the lead during the 1st quarter. They played very well probably because of the presence of nab and ika (KYUEM's greatest cheering duo) and the KMB defense failed to cope with their attacks. KYUEM controlled the game for almost every minute of the game. Credit should be given to Acap for his superb performance which paralyzed the KMB players. KYUEM won 40-29.

KYUEM players' words b4 the game:
- Mana bdk KMB ni??
- Gla ah. Warming up lg lama dr main.
- Aku dh lapo ni ( x breakfast lg masa 2 )
- Laa, nape bdk KMB x bwk supporter pmpuan?? Kecewa2

26th October, 12.30pm
KYUEM vs SAS
Exteremely hot. That was how the weather was during the game. The game started with KYUEM leading the game. SAS gave a good fight and made a comeback during the 2nd quarter. However, some of their players played roughly. Many fouls was given during this game which showed how tense it was. When the 3rd quarter ended, KYUEM was still leading 20-17. The 4th quarter was the final moment of the game and SAS and KYUEM did all their best to attack and defend. Both team did not want to give up. However, with 1 minutes 30 seconds remaining, SAS managed to take the lead by 2 points. KYUEM was determined to get back the lead but a last minute foul gave SAS 2 free throws. SAS managed to score 1 of them and made the margin 3 points. With only 9 seconds left on the clock, KYUEM quickly attacked and tried to shoot a 3 pointer but Faris shot did not went into the hoop. So KYUEM lost to SAS 22-25. There was a controversy during the end of the 2nd quarter when Zed B fired a last second 3 point shot just as the referee was blowing his whistle and it went in. But the referee did not alowed the shot. If that was counted, the result of the game could have been different.

Some controversial words uttered during the game:
SAS player: Rileks, diorg dh tua. Kita muda lg.
Bdk no.12 UIA: Hah, blasah ja diorg. Bg siku sket. (UIA support SAS)
KYUEM player: Weh, x kn nk kalah ngn bdk2 kot.
KYUEM player: Uih, gla ah. Diorg mcm machine. Main cm askar. Teng pn kalah.

26th October, 5.30pm:
KYUEM vs UIA
Many KYUEM players had to go back early and hence they decided to forfeit the match.

Reasons given by KYUEM players:
-Aku nk kna blik umh la. Ada open house.
-Kaki aku krem. X tau bleh main ke x ptg ni.
-Aku pnat gla. Kaki aku sakit ah.
-Aku lapo la. Jom p alamanda.
-Ngntuk2. ZZzzzzzz

On the whole, for me, it was a very exciting experience. I would like to give my thanks to every basketball players and supporters of KYUEM who came during the game. You guys are the best!! I hope that we can continue this performance during the Sports & Charity Carnival and make KYUEM proud.

Love.....

Love...
Something that is unexplainable and very complex...
You can't prove it using logic and mathematical equations(even using further mathematics equations!!)...
You can't use scientific experiments to test it...
Yet every single one of us is attach to it...
We don't need proof to believe it is there..
The feeling of having it will make you feel like you are the most luckiest person in the world...
It will make you smile, laugh and gives joy to your life...

However, love, like anything else has its own dangers...
It can sometimes make you act strangely and even dangerously..
It leads to heartbreaks, jealousy, and many more...
Love is like a fire...
If you can control it, it will benefit you..
But beware, if you fail, it has the power to destroy you...

I, myself have a lover...
I met her when I was in form 1...
at that time I was very down coz I was not accepted to be in my school's football team...
Her presence made me forget all my sadness...
She cheered me up and made me smile again...
We usually get together during the evening...
The moments that I spent with her are very precious....
I will always be happy when I am with her even though we do sometimes quarrel...
But every time we quarrel  we will always be back together again...
There are times that I miss her a lot....
Just thinking about her makes me feel excited...
Seeing her will always make me happy...
When we are apart for a long time, I will always miss her...
That's why I will always find some time to be with her...
Whenever I have a problem, feeling stress, tension or sad, I will always consult her...
Even though she can't solve my problems, but just by seeing her I was able to forget everything and relax...
She is very special to me....
I have made a promise to myself that I will never leave her...
I will always stay by her side....
And be with her in every situation...
I hope that our relationship will last forever and ever.......
I love her soooo much....
You are my only one...
basketball...
I love this game...
Hehehehe

Rush Hour

Today, I woke up quite early.
Woke up 4 Subuh at 6.30am (2 pn lepas beberapa kali bgn-tdo-bgn-tdo tp akhirnya brjaya juga mngalahkan bisikan syaitan)
then of course, the continuation of SLEEPING!!! hehe
Woke up again at 7.45am.. had to wake up cause I have a further pure class with Mr. B at 8.15am...
Gosok bju, mandi n brsiap diri...
then I hurried to the DH to eat (roti canai yum3)
after eating, I realised that it is already 8.25am...
aiyo I'm late... huhuhu
I walked very fast towards my classroom...
Seeing nobody outside the classroom, I became more panic( slalunya Mr B dtg lmbt so bdk2 klas aku slalu kna tnggu dia kt luar)
I ran up the stairs and when I finally reached the classroom, I was shocked...
Nobody was inside...
Siot....
Penat ja aku gelabah....
It turns out that Mr B has an exam to take care of so he will be a late for awhile...
And here I am writing something while waiting for Mr B...
Ok la...
better get to class now...
He is probably there already...

SICK!!

I got sick a few days a go...
The thing is, it was quite bizarre how I got sick..... playing basketball.
Huhuhu
Yeah you guys must think it weird how on earth that could happen but the thing is,
it's a true story..
Well, it was all my fault for being to energetic...
I ran up and down the court even though on that day I was fasting...
The spirit of basketball hehehe
And you know what happens next.... I became sick...
I was very tired that night and felt very cold..
For two days I didn't go to class... Seems fun but it was not....
It was very boring..
Nothing to do, just lying on bed hoping that I will get well soon...
And I lost my appetite during that which is very awful for a person who loves to eat hehe
This experience taught me one thing...
Be grateful when you are well cause you will never know when you will get sick..

Igt lima perkara, sebelum lima perkara:
1. Sihat sebelum sakit
2. Muda sebelum tua
3. Kaya sebelum miskin
4. Lapang sebelum sempit
5. Hidup sebelum mati
Just as a reminder to you all....

My Generation (Poem)

A few weeks back, I was told by my beloved IELTS teacher Mrs Foord to create an English poem about my generation.

My first impression was " Hah?? Aku mana reti. BM bleh la. Cmna nk goreng ni?".

But since it is compulsory, I had no choice but to give it a try.

It was really hard to 'goreng' the words since it is in English.

I used my best technique to 'goreng' and here is what I come out with.

Hope you enjoy it....

My Generation

My generation,

Young and enthusiastic,

Full of spirit and wonderful ideas,

Your heart is pure and innocent,

Yet so difficult and easy to manipulate,

My generation,

You hold the key to future success,

Destined for greatness and extraordinary achievement,

No one can deny this fate,

Except you who struggle to believe in it,

My generation,

Strive for self-independence,

You walk the Earth with your heads high up,

Confident about what lies in front of you,

But you fail to detect,

The hidden dangers ahead of you,

Understanding Your Friend

Friends...
they are among the most influencial people in our life (some even rank them as no #1)...
however, it is normal for friends 2 fight n quarrel sometimes...
nobody is perfect...
so we sometime makes mistakes which hurt our friends...
understanding is one of the most in important thing for a good relationship with your friends...

Imagine you are having a problem and it is really making you feel sad and down...
so you turn to your friend and say
'Bro, I need your help. I have a big problem.'
and you tell your friend about all of the things that are disturbing you...
But what is your friend reaction towards this??
Here are a few negative reactions...
1. Looks at you with blur impression/ doesn't pay too much attention to you. This really irritates other people so please don't do this to your friends.
2. Gives a resonance effect ot your problem by saying " You have a problem. I have a problem too." And in the end, both of them cried over their problems. (this is usually the case for girls hehehe)
3. Before you even finished telling him/her about your problems, he/she turns to you and says "Be patient. Itu semua cobaan". I wouldn't say this is wrong. It's just that the timing is wrong.

So how should you react when your friend comes to you with a problem.
These are a few tips:
1. Listen to him/her and your full attention to what he/she is speaking. Try to comfort him/her while your listening.
2. Try to understand what your friend is feeling. Put yourself in his/her shoe.
3. Give suggestions to solve his/her problems if you have any.
4. Be supportive.

Even though you will usually be unable to solve your friends problem, just becoming a good listener is good enough to help ease your friends burden.

Lastly to all my friends out there,
FRIENDS 4 EVER!!!!

zZZzzZZ

Today have been a very non-productive day for me.
Since morning I have done nothing but sleep.
huhuhu
What is wrong with me???
Just when I was about to study for the exam which is on Saturday, my eyes and head felt really dizzy.
My eyes kept shutting by itself every time I try to focus.
Even though I try to hold on, but the sleeping sensation always defeats my determination to stdy.
Huhuhu
Maybe I need to exercise a bit today.
I think my body has really miss playing basketball even though I it was just yesterday that I did not play.
Hehehe

Disappointment ....

Today, after finished praying, I decided to surf the net for awhile and check out the latest news and events in Malaysia..
So I opened Malaysiakini....
I clicked on the most interesting issue that is published which is about the statement of the Chief of UMNO for the Bukit Mertajam district.
For those who have no idea of what I'm talking about, let me shed some light for you guys.
During the Permatang Pauh election, Datuk Ahmad Ismail, Chief of UMNO for the Bkt Bendera district gave out a statement which is said to be offensive to the Chinese during his speech for the campaign.
This has sparked anger to the Chinese community of Malaysia.
However, Datuk Ahmad Ismail defended himself saying that he was referring to the history of Malaysia and refuses to apologise to the public.

The thing that I am disappointed with is that the way some of our leaders are using race as an issue.
They give out racist comments which offends other races. Is this how leaders should act?
Are our leaders really taking the principle and belief that all races in Malaysia are part of Malaysia or are they just thinking of their own race and self importance?
We have reached our 51st years of independent.
Shouldn't we have learnt a lot from all these years about the races in Malaysia?
Can't we tolerate  with each other and sit in one table to discuss our problems?
In the latest issue of the Malaysiakini that I read showed a picture of a man tearing the picture of Datuk Koh Tsu Koon, the President of the Gerakan party.
Is this how we should act after 50 years of independent?
I was totally disappointed with this.

In my opinion, it is important for us all to understand one another in order for us to live harmoniously in Malaysia. Let us hold our hands together and strive to achieve success as Malaysians and not as an individual race.
Put aside all of the negative thoughts and perception that we have on others. Rather looking at the bad things of other people, won't it be better if look for the good things of them?
We can make the difference

Leaders of tomorrow !!

One day, Utbah bin Farqad, the Gabenor of Azerbaijan at the time of Khalifah Umar Al-Khattab was presented with a food by his people which was a norm at that time. He accepted and asked:
"What is the name of this food?"
"This food is called Habish" said his people.
The Gabenor tasted the food and found it very delicious. He thought that it would be a good idea to send this food to Khalifah Umar Al-Khattab and make him happy. The Gabenor quickly asked his people to make the food.
After the food was ready, he ordered two of his people to send the Habish to Khalifah Umar Al-Khattab. They both quickly headed for Madinah and presented the food to Khalifah Umar Al-Khattab. Khalifah Umar tasted the food.
"What is the name of this food?" asked Khalifah Umar.
"The name of this food is Habish. This is the most delicious food in Azerbaijan," said one of the messenger.
"Can every people of Azerbaijan eat this food?" asked Khalifah Umar again.
"No, not everyone can eat this food," said the messenger with some fear in his voice.
Khalifah Umar Al-Khattab went red in the face as a sign that he is angry. He asked both messenger to return the Habish to Azerbaijan and present a letter to the Gabenor of Azerbaijan,
'......this delicious food is not made from the money of your mother and father. Thus, fill the stomach of your people first before you fill your own stomach.'

DOE- The Ultimate Physical Test

elo..
huh..it's now the end of another busy week... Last Saturday, I went for the DOE expedition. We had to walk for about 23 km in two days. On the first day, we had to walk for 5 km to our campsite but on the 2nd day, we had to walk for 18 km! Sounds tiring? It really is. You should try it someday to know how hard it feels. During the night, we had to shelter ourselves from the rain. It was pouring all night long. We could not do any activities except for talking and making jokes. Hehehe. On the good side of it, the rain made us comfortable during our sleep. It was really cozy in the tent so slept like logs. Hehehe.
The food that we cook was nice too. Even though it was just instant noodles n soup, it really was very delicious thx to the skills of the cooks. And the best part during this expedition was when we took a bath at the hot spring. Wooo. It really was relaxing. It made my foot feel a lot better after having to walk a very long distance in the rain. I hope one day they will build a hot spring in KYUEM. It would be fantastic. Hehehe
Next week will be a very exciting week. I'll be playing in the Basketball Interhouse Finals. Garnet(which my house) vs Diamond. Please pray for our success.
That's all for now. Bye2

Hardwork+Determination+Strategy=Success

hi guys. I'm back. Sry for not updating it during this past few days. Today, I would like to promote another Japanese drama which is entitled Dragon Zakura. It is about a lawyer who wants to send 5 students to Tokyo University ( Todai). One problem is, this school is always being perceive as a 'stupid' school. No one have ever gone to Todai before and the thought of these students wanting to go to Todai have always been a joke. Even so, this lawyer made an invitation to any students who wish to change and make a U turn in their life. Will any student accept his offer?? That I'll leave it to you to find out.
This is a very interesting drama. It is not the usual drama which has lots of romance and stuff. This story is more on showing how with a lot of effort, you can achive your goals. This drama teaches the basic technique for revision and study. It also shows how good teaching technique is essentialt in forming an interest from the student and thus shows the importance of teachers. It shows how a good teacher should be. For those of you who are going to be a teacher, make sure you watch this drama before you even start teaching. It would be helpful to you and your future students. In this drama, it also shows that support from the family especially the parents, is very crucial.
Overall, this drama has provided me with the boost I need to study harder in order to achieve a good result in the A-Level examinations which is in 1 year time. I am very thankful that I have had the chance to watch this drama before I started my new semester. It made me realize on the importance of doing your best and sacrificing things that are not important to achieve a result that could be the turning point of your life. Think about it for awhile.
To end this, I would to wish all the best to all my friends out there and also to all the readers of my blog. I hope that we will all succeed in our life.

Friends!!

Today, I have finished watching a very interesting Japanese drama series entitled ' Proposal Daisakusen'. I recommend it to all of you out there to watch this. You won't regret it. Hehe
Well, i got interested to it because of its storyline, the cute and beautiful female actress : P, the way they act, the culture of the Japanese, and the way they convey moral values to the audience which really struck me in the heart. I finished watching all 12 episode plus 1 special episode in just to days (my best record ever, although i know some of you might have finished it in just 1 night).
Anyway, after finished watching it, I thought to myself for a while. In the drama, the main character has 4 best friend. They always do things together and enjoyed themselves together. Although they were hard times, they still stick together and help each other. I know some of may say that it's just an act, but to me, I think it really is something to be thought about.
Friendship should not be taken for granted. No matter who you are, friends will always be very important to you. They are the one besides your parents who have brought you up to become who you are right now and I think that is something to be grateful of.
When thinking back about my school days, I will always smile and laugh all by myself ( I'm not insane). Remembering all those days we had at school and enjoying ourselves with not many things to worry about made me realize how important friends are. If it was not for them, school would be very boring. Just books being your company is not something very interesting.
So to conclude my long speech, I would to say THANK YOU to all my friends out there. Have an enjoyable life and I hope we will meet again someday. Do keep in contact.
Basketball is truth hehehe

Holidays!!!

Holidays. The most exciting word for a student. This is the time for us to relax and enjoy life. No books, no assignment or homework, no alarm clocks, no timetables, no faces of your 'beloved' teachers. This is the time when your pillows, bed, television, pc, and playstation rule your life and becomes your bestfriend.
Fun as it may seem, for me, holidays can sometimes be very boring. I am now 2 weeks away from ending my holidays but still, I feel that I have wasted my time very much. Inefficiency has become my daily routine. Everyday I woke up and straight away went to the pc to check the internet( that is, after I have had my bath). After about half an hour or so, I would then start playing Football Manager 2008 ( the most addicted game that I have ever played in my life, I do not know why) for 4-6 hours. When I thought about it, I felt really ashamed of myself. But the next day, I still repeated the same thing. Making changes to your life is very difficult if you know what I mean. Huhuhuhu
Even so, I will still keep on trying. Starting from tommorow, I will stop playing FM08. No more! I have wasted my time enough. Efficiency will start tommorow. Hehehe
